HAN HAN step forward with her sophomore 13-track album, URDUJA, written in Filipino languages (Tagalog and Cebuano) with a mix of English, independently recorded and produced in Toronto.

Urduja, a legendary princess, warrior, leader and heroine in Filipino folklore, is the central inspiration of the album. Like Urduja, Han Han’s music, illustrated by her fiery lyrics and vibe, represents a force of femininity, courage and agency in the Filipinx collective consciousness.
She recently released her single "Babae Ka", which means
"You Are Woman", showcasing the power of the feminine, a perfect first track that will tell the story of Han Han's sophomore album as she portrays Urduja. The album is ready for the dance floor mixing Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Electronic and Blues. She touched on these in her first album but now emphasizes it in this second release while taking claim in her pride and strength as a Filipinx.

URDUJA features Lex Junior and French Manilla.

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
